Explaining About Being Psychic
I've been a psychic all my life. So have you. I didn't know it until I turned 35 years old. You didn't know it until just now.
Do you feel any different? Well, no, you're not supposed to.
You can develop your psychic abilities. For some people it will end up being a lot of effort and for others just a little. The main thing is that it is easier to do if you are able to visualize while you go along. And, an important thing to consider is that these psychic senses are not special or only belong to a select few. These psychic senses belong to everyone. I am just asking you to begin paying attention to them, to give yourself the benefit of the doubt and to open yourself to an incredibly rich area of your own life.
It is like learning how to draw. For years you have admired people who draw and just could not understand how they could put a picture together on paper when all you have ever been able to do is draw stick people. In these web pages I hope to get you to turn your attention toward a part of yourself that has always been there and will prove to greatly enrich your life.
Visualization is so important to so many tasks and it is very important in this one. So, is being able to pretend.
Does that mean you're going to be a tricky psychic? A fraud? A scammer? No, it's like anything else you want to do or be. In the beginning you need to pretend. Do you think Arnold Palmer got to be such a good golfer without daydreaming about golfing a lot? Of course he thinks about golfing a lot. And, scientists think about the projects they are working on. And artists think about what they are painting. So, a psychic can think about psychic things.
Is it Scary Being Psychic?
No, but that doesn't mean you have to be stupid about it. For instance, in the beginning practically everybody, no matter how grown up and mature they are, can get overwhelmed by the newness, the novelty and the sheer amazingness of this new world. They want to share. Folks they share with believe sincerely they need the help of a straight jacket and the men from the funny farm.
You really don't need folks who love you and are totally alarmed at what you are doing to come down on you like a guy squashing a bug at this stage in your development.
Just keep your mouth zipped for a little while. The beginning is wierd and you will be thankful that you did keep your mouth shut after the newness wears off and after you grow accustomed to it all. It's like being in the presence of a gazillion movie stars when you've never left Peoria in all your life. Suddenly, everybody wants to talk to you and shake your hand.
What I'm saying is don't go getting a swelled head about it.
Folk in Spirit tend to have an odd way of teaching and of working with you through that first year. It's almost like being in the middle of the Wizard of Oz.
